My new FAVOURITE facial cream

I bought Skyn Icelands, Pure Cloud Cream, after watching a few make up tutorials on YouTube. I ordered it along with various other things from Cult Beauty (I’ll do a review on it all soon!). Little did I know that I could actually purchase it from M&S!

The write up on the website says that this cream is a “light-as-air daily moisturising cream to hydrate, soothe, pamper and protect severely dry , sensitive skin”. So, I wouldn’t class myself as having severely dry skin.. in fact I don’t have dry skin at all BUT I do like to keep my skin protected from all the outdoor elements and keep it hydrated, particularly when I’m spending a lot of time outside.

It contains a variety of different ingredients such as Almond Oil. Sodium Hyaluronate, Oat Extract, Aloe, Neuropeptide, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein and Biabolol. The last big ingredient that’s on the list is Icelandic Complex, a natural blend of Icelandic Glacial Water, Arctic Cloudberry, Cranberry Seed Oils and Pure Molecular Oxygen.

When I took the lid off I genuinely thought it looked like a very strange consistency. It almost looked a bit lumpy and jelly like? I scooped a tiny bit out and rubbed it between my fingers to warm it up and then applied all over my face, gently smoothing and patting/pressing into my skin. It smells absolutely beautiful and applies lovely.

It didn’t feel greasy or heavy on my skin even though it’s a hydrating cream. I’ve been using this cream in a morning before I put my primer on and it’s gorgeous. My make up has been going on so smooth and hasn’t been going patchy at all. Whilst it’s fragranced, it’s not too powerful so doesn’t irritate your skin or eyes at all.

If your someone who has dry skin then this stuff is definitely the one! Or if you just want to keep your face hydrated and protected then I’d highly recommend it. I also have some of their eye gels and firming face and neck gels which I can’t wait to try.
