Iconic London’s Contour Palette

I've seen it a thousand times on Instagram, beauty gurus drawing the lines and triangles out on their face using cream highlight and contour palettes and then looking like they blend it out SO effortlessly with their damp beauty blender. I've bought a few different cream contour palettes now that have all left me with similar results, sticky contour that doesn't blend out at all without a tonne of fix+ and highlight/concealer that just doesn't cover anything!

Anyway, I took a risk and bought yet another cream contour palette, fully expecting to have the exact same results as I've had with all the others. Totally not what I expected, it was absolutely a risk worth taking. Heres why;

The product is ridiculously creamy and easy to apply. It actually looks like it does on the Instagram videos! The highlight is full coverage which is what I love and so is the contour but at the same time, an absolute dream to blend out.

There are 3 shades of highlight, a slightly darker highlight almost a nude colour, a slightly yellowish toned highlight and a more white/cream highlight. The contour colours are basically 3 different shades of brown. The first one being more of a bronzed brown colour, the middle is a contour shade in a medium to dark brown shade and the last is a dark brown contour shade.

I use the highlight shades in a triangle under my eyes and up onto the top of my cheek bones, down the centre of my nose, and upside down triangle on my forehead between the brows and also on my cupids bow. I use a mix of the middle highlight shade and the top right shade to get the perfect highlight. The contour shades I mainly use the bottom right for under the cheek bones to get a real sculpted look and then a mix of the middle and bottom left for around the temples and forehead to give it more of a bronzed look.

These creams are so easy to blend and don't fade when you blend them, you really get a lot of colour pay off, the pigment is 100% there! It cost me £32.99 directly from the Iconic London website. If your a beginner or a pro, I would definitely recommend getting this palette.
